Revival
“How will you know when revival has come? If you have confessed and forsaken personal and hidden sin, you are in revival. If you have a renewed desire to pray and fellowship with Jesus, you are in revival. If you have an unquenchable thirst to praise and worship Him in spirit and truth, you are in revival. If you have been brought back into communion with a brother and old hurts have been forgiven, you are in revival. If you have forsaken a critical spirit of faultfinding, suspicion, and cynicism, you are in revival. When you have become the best friend to your marriage companion and your children no longer dread being in your presence, you are in revival. When the wellspring of the Holy Spirit brings life to every sermon you preach, every prayer you pray, and every song you sing, you are in revival. Authentic revival is more than a concept; it is an experience. Revival should be a perpetual, ongoing style of living for the born-again believer, fed by a daily walk with God. God is always ready to respond to our desire to draw near to Him. He calls us to move beyond the missed of the ordinary income into the extraordinary river of truth and authentic revival. Anything less falls tragically short of God’s great plan for His church.” By Dr. Tim Hill
