A Word to Pastors and Teachers in the Assemblies of God
“Please get yourself in the word, study to show yourself approved, a workman that needs not be ashamed. Pray, get God’s word for your heart. Don’t just get another good sermon idea, get what God has birthed in your heart and don’t come to the pulpit, don’t come to the teaching chair until God has put something in your heart. If you will share what God has put in your heart, you may not use the best English, you may not use the best grammar, you may not have the best hermeneutical tools, but if you have God’s word burning in your heart, people’s lives will be changed and they will experience the saving and delivering power of Jesus Christ in their lives.”
